Lise is a social agogist: an education where sociology, psychology and philosophy come together. In recent years, she has focused on topics related to elderly policy, such as age-friendly and dementia-friendly municipalities.
In 2017, she started her doctoral research at the VUB on "Loneliness from a life course perspective", successfully completing her PhD in October 2021.
Afterwards, she joined the Department of Welfare, Public Health and Family to work on caring neighborhoods.
Now, within Mobilab & Care, she will conduct research on the themes of caring neighborhoods and loneliness.
